ANARBOR - Drugstore Diet
Review of ‘Drugstore Diet’
This song, being the second song on the album after ‘Contagious’ is awesome, considering that ‘Contagious’ is one of my favorites, plus ‘Contagious’ is a great, energetic song, so it is good as an opener. But I’m reviewing ‘Drugstore Diet’. Drugstore Diet, is for lack of better words a sequel to ‘Contagious’ in that it is great that is right after it on the album, and is energetic (especially live). However, it is especially great due to its catchy rhythm and line-and-sinker lyrics in which they play their hearts out about experimenting, drugs and just adolescence as a whole. Trust me, you get “I’ll just bottle it up” really melted into your head, and in a good way. If you want a song to get a friend hooked on Anarbor, it is this song. My friend who went to Warped Tour with me, watched them play Drugstore Diet first (we were late and missed the first song :() and said she fell in love and loved their energy.
Overall, Drugstore Diet is an awesome song, and I honestly don’t see why Anarbor hasn’t made a video for this song. But considering how much they got on their plate (Warped Tour and released a video for ‘Gypsy Woman’), I can see why. Check the song out! 4.9999999 out of 5 :P.
